Poland have long been a team who’ve possessed one or two great players whilst never really being clinical as a unit. The tide began to turn two years ago at the Euros, when they reached the quarter-finals before narrowly exiting to Portugal on penalties. Since then they’ve consistently ranked inside the top 10, with a talented team that are so much more than just talismanic striker Robert Lewandowski.
Both the home and away Poland shirts are split diagonally with an assured and confident look befitting of the side. It’s the perfect example of understated design done well, and what can be done with just a couple of colours. Biało-czerwoni (The White and Reds) have every right to be expectant heading to Russia, which will be an interesting storyline to watch after years of being an underdog.
