10 best dad shoes & chunky trainers of...

Ah, effortless nostalgia. You just can’t beat it. The Puma St Petersburg is (probably) the best ‘80s throwback since the last season of Stranger Things - and that was pretty darn good. In fact, it might feel strange to wear these without a Walkman clipped to your belt.
Drenched in a vibrant blue and red colourway, the St Petersburg “Bluebird” combines bold colours with an irresistible retro silhouette. The white insole completes the colour palette, and you’ve probably already guessed this a lovely tribute to the Russian city of St Petersburg. You know, otherwise the name wouldn’t really make sense.
First released back in 1982, these trainers have now been fast-forwarded to the modern day, with a stylish remake which is refreshingly loyal to the original. The blue suede uppers, red leather stripes and that all-important gum sole are all still here, reminding us all that this same look is every bit as iconic as it used to be.
This shoe comes as part of an outstanding archival collection from Puma, but this might just be the pick of the bunch. Don’t just sit here gawking at it, though, compare prices with us today and bag a deal before they’re all gone! You might have to hop into your DeLorean if you miss out on this one.
