BEST PREMIER LEAGUE KITS 2024/25: EVERY SHIRT RANKED
Yes, folks, it is that time again when we’re here to weigh in on kit debates with our unfiltered opinions.
Remember Arsenal’s training bib, sorry, away kit from last season? Spoiler alert: it was rock bottom on our list. Have they redeemed themselves this year? We’ll find out!
From Premier League giants like City and Liverpool to fresh faces like Ipswich and Southampton, we’re reviewing every home and away kit.
With several teams switching kit makers, it’s sure to be an interesting season for fashion on the football pitch.
So, without further ado, let’s get straight into it…
40. Tottenham Hotspur Away
Images from Tottenham Hotspur FC.
We’re just going to say it—the first thing that comes to mind is bananas in pyjamas.
With its iconic blue stripes inspired by the 80s and 90s, the shirt blends light blue shades with navy accents for the logos. The lopsided collar is certainly an interesting choice. The unique all-over pattern combines various graphic elements, though we’re still not convinced about placing club crests in the centre.
Yellow and white accents on the sleeve cuffs, inner collar, and side of the badge round out the look—do you see the banana vision now?
39. Nottingham Forest Away
Images from Nottingham Forest FC.
Nottingham Forest’s new away kit for the season is definitely turning heads, though not always for the right reasons.
The bold pink accents on the adidas logo, Nottingham crest, and side panels make quite a statement, and while we’re fans of the navy and pink combo, the pattern (which looks suspiciously like razor blades?) unfortunately overshadows what could have been a fantastic kit.
It’s a mix of daring and dubious design choices, but hey, at least it’s memorable! If the kits are any indication of their performance, Forest fans might be in for another rough season.
38. Leicester City Away
Images from Leicester City FC.
After Leicester's triumphant promotion last season, you'd expect the new away kit to be a major upgrade, but it feels like we've taken a step back from last year's standout design.
This year’s kit features a striking black base with white logos, but the spray paint-style red and orange pattern seems a bit haphazard and random.
The dark adidas stripes clash with the rest of the shirt, and they really should have been white to give the whole look a bit more pop.
It’s certainly a bold choice, and while it might leave fans a bit puzzled, hopefully it’ll confuse defenders enough to help Leicester score some goals!
37. Southampton Away
Images from Southampton FC.
Southampton’s away kit this season is certainly eye-catching, with its striking fluorescent yellow base and pattern.
The navy crew neck collar and sleeve trims add a touch of contrast, but let’s be honest—fluorescent kits can go either way, and this one leans more towards high-vis jacket than football shirt.
The longer we look at it, the more it puts us off. It’s a fun idea, but last season’s kit was a step up. And don’t even get us started on that sponsor logo—huge, bold, and about as out of place as a Saints fan at a Pompey match!
36. Chelsea Away
Images from Chelsea FC.
Chelsea’s away kit for the new season has us scratching our heads a bit. We can't help but feel it would’ve been a knockout with a classic white base—simple and stylish.
The blue and orange accents are a nice touch, and the badge and logos do look sharp. However, the overall colour scheme is a bit of a miss for us.
The collar shape might spark some debate among fans, and we're still on the fence about it. It almost seems like the shirt was white before an accidental wash with a red sock…
35. Crystal Palace Home
Images from Crystal Palace FC.
Oh dear, where to begin? The eagle motifs create bold blue and red stripes, but instead of looking fierce, it feels a bit chaotic. The blue collar and cuffs with white and red trim try to pull it together, but there’s just too much going on.
We get the idea behind the meaningful details, but it ends up looking more like a kid's art project.
The only saving grace is that they’ve stuck to the colour scheme—credit where it’s due! But after last season’s beautiful shirt, this one’s a bit of a letdown.
34. Bournemouth Away
Images from A.F.C. Bournemouth
Well, where do we even begin with Bournemouth's away kit this season? It’s a bold throwback to their early '90s designs—a nostalgia trip we usually relish, but this one might be a bit overwhelming.
With its predominantly white base and eye-catching mint and purple graphics, it’s definitely a statement piece. While we’d peg it more as a third kit, the matching logos and purple accents do their best to pull this chaotic design together.
However, the sponsor’s logo doesn’t exactly complement the overall design.
Love it or loathe it, this funky kit is bound to spark some lively debates among the fans!
33. Nottingham Forest Home
Images from Nottingham Forest FC.
Nottingham Forest’s new home kit has taken a bold leap this season, transforming from last year’s overly simple training top look, to a design that feels like it’s trying to do a bit too much.
The subtle striping pattern on the front and sleeves is actually made up of overlapping stars, a nod to their two European Cup victories, a nice touch. But between that and the oversized sponsor logo that you can’t miss, it’s a lot to take in.
It’s giving off more Bayern Munich vibes than Forest, which might have fans feeling uncertain—especially after a few challenging seasons.
32. Ipswich Town Away
Images from Ipswich Town FC.
Ipswich Town's away kit for the new season is an interesting one, featuring a striking maroon design with a navy trim.
The jersey pays tribute to the town of Ipswich, with a bold gold crest and Umbro diamond adding a touch of class. What makes it even more special is the graphic of their home stadium, filled with cheering fans, capturing the vibrant matchday atmosphere.
Let’s hope the team can tap into that energy as they face what’s sure to be a challenging season ahead!
31. Brighton Away
Images from Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
Brighton’s away kit this season is a predominantly yellow number with a thin black stripe design down the front. And honestly, we’re a bit torn on this one.
The bold yellow instantly reminds us of Wolves’ home kit, but with some extra flair thanks to the white side panels and Nike Swoosh. Unfortunately, the white feels a bit out of place—if anything, those accents should be black to tie the whole thing together. It almost feels like a strange attempt to brighten the shirt up, but yellow and white just don't work for us.
The look brings back memories of their 2013 away kit, and while Brighton has used yellow before, it doesn't quite feel like them this time around.
30. Brentford Home
Images from Brentford FC.
Brentford’s home kit for the new season is a familiar sight—it’s exactly the same as last year’s. The club decided to keep their kits for two seasons, saving fans a bit of cash (assuming anyone’s buying it, that is).
Unfortunately, we weren’t big fans of it last year, and our opinion hasn’t improved. It’s still a bit of a "swing and a miss" for us. On the bright side, we do appreciate their use of a custom font for the player names, which gives it a unique touch.
However, that betting logo remains, and it’s still costing them points in our book once again.
29. Southampton Home
Images from Southampton FC.
Southampton’s new home kit is a welcome return to their classic red and white stripes and a clear upgrade from last year’s design.
Now crafted by Puma instead of Hummel, it features a sharp look with black collars, cuffs, and a sleek Puma logo. While the shirt sponsor might not be the best, let’s not dwell on that minor detail.
The design is straightforward and might seem a bit simple to some, but it proudly showcases the club’s identity. It’s a fittingly classic choice as they make their Premier League return!
28. Crystal Palace Away
Images from Crystal Palace FC.
Crystal Palace’s away kit returns to its classic yellow with a fresh twist. Dubbed the "Eagle Spotlight Kit," it’s the first to feature a simplified eagle crest on the ball, replacing the usual badge.
The predominantly yellow jersey has a subtle Eagle motif on the front, while blue collar and cuffs with red and yellow trim add a nice touch. Sticking to primary colours works well here, and we’re particularly fond of the new crest.
Though it doesn’t quite top last season’s away kit, we’re still fans of this one!
27. West Ham United Home
Images from West Ham United FC.
West Ham's new home kit takes a retro swing, drawing inspiration from their 1960s glory days to mark the 60th anniversary of their Cup Winners' Cup win.
It's a definite step up from last year’s bubble-themed design (which we weren't fans of), but is it maybe a little too simple? It gives off a training-top look more than matchday magic.
The claret, sky blue, and white striping on the collar and sleeve cuffs is a nice nod to the past, but we’re not sold on it. And as for the recoloured badge? We get the idea, but sadly, it just doesn’t hit the mark.
All in all, another swing and a miss for the Hammers.
26. Brighton Home
Images from Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
Brighton’s home kit for the new season brings a fresh twist with a fading white pinstripe pattern on bold blue stripes, all set against a clean white base.
With blue stripes at the lower section on the back, and a pop of yellow under the arm, the accents work well together. We always appreciate when the sponsor matches the shirt, and this one does.
However, the sleeve sponsor, how do we put this nicely, is a bit of a hot mess. Overall, it’s a step up from last season and feels more "Brighton," something fans will surely be excited about.
25. Wolverhampton Wanderers Home
Images from Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
Wolves' new home kit for the season is a bright splash of yellow, courtesy of the fresh faces at Sudu, who’ve stepped in to replace Castore.
The shirt features embossed pentagon patterns inspired by the Wolves crest—it's a nifty detail that adds a touch of class. The collar and cuffs, both yellow with black trim, work surprisingly well.
However, the badge right in the middle of the shirt looks a bit odd, and yet another betting logo makes an appearance (insert eye roll).
Overall, the kit is quite simple, but it's still a nice, vibrant addition to the Wolves' wardrobe.
24. Aston Villa Home
Images from Aston Villa FC.
Aston Villa’s new home kit for the season marks their first design with adidas, joining the list of teams moving away from Castore—and what an upgrade it is!
Gone is last year’s unfortunate “wet look” shirt, replaced with a cleaner, sharper design that sticks to the club's classic claret and blue. The special ‘AV 150’ detail behind the neck celebrates the club’s rich history, and the updated crest looks sleek and smart.
The new sponsor logo blends in nicely, though we could do without the betting ads.
Overall, it’s a big improvement on last season—simple, stylish, and very Villa.
23. Bournemouth Home
Images from A.F.C. Bournemouth
Bournemouth's new home kit for this season is a stylish nod to their legendary 2014-15 strip—the one that saw them triumphantly promoted to the Premier League.
The kit features classy gold edging that gives it a winning attitude, with even the Umbro and sponsor logos embracing the golden touch (though we can't ignore it's a betting company). Maybe the gold is also a subtle celebration of lasting this long in the top flight?
The high collar ties the whole sophisticated look together, while the Cherry Bournemouth logo sits proudly beneath the back collar.
It's definitely a step up from last season's kit—more exciting and full of promise!
22. Newcastle United Away
Images from Newcastle United FC.
Newcastle’s away kit for the new season is a great nod to the iconic 1995-96 strip, bringing back those maroon and blue hoops with a modern twist.
The white logos and adidas detailing add a crisp touch, making this remake a real standout. We’ve got to give credit where it’s due—it’s a solid update. The only thing missing? That original collar! It would have been the cherry on top.
Still, it's a clean, well-executed design, even if it doesn’t quite reach "best ever" status.
21. Everton Home
Images from Everton FC.
After a few challenging seasons battling near the relegation zone, Everton is ready for a fresh start. Enter Castore, Everton’s new kit maker, with a stylish new home shirt.
The design is clean and modern, with a subtle nod to Everton's original 1920 crest—though you might need a sharp eye to catch the deconstructed EFC hidden in the pattern.
While it would be even better if the pattern extended to the sleeves, the shirt holds its own, we’d say it’s on par with last season’s look. We do miss the old collar, but the new one has its own charm.
20. Liverpool Away
Images from Liverpool FC.
Liverpool’s away kit for the new season is a classy number that proves simplicity can still make a statement.
While some might call it boring, it’s actually a refreshing break from the over-the-top designs we often see—sometimes, less really is more.
The sleek black base with turquoise accents gives it a sharp, modern look, and the white logos add just the right amount of contrast to make this a very nice shirt indeed.
19. Newcastle United Home
Images from Newcastle United FC.
Newcastle's home kit for the new season marks the end of Castore’s run and the exciting return of adidas, delivering yet another classic black and white striped masterpiece.
Geordies are fiercely passionate, so it's no surprise that the iconic design hasn't been tampered with. The adidas logo is sleek in black, matching the sleeves, while the mostly white back provides a perfect canvas for the bold black numbers.
Inspired by their 2002-03 Champions League campaign, there's a touch of nostalgia in this shirt.
While it’s not drastically different from last year, the new fake collar look is a subtle upgrade we’re loving.
18. Leicester City Home
Images from Leicester City FC.
Leicester City are back in the Premier League, and with it comes their new home kit. Sticking with the classic blue and white, there's a touch of flair this year thanks to a subtle golden-yellow line on the collar.
The wavy side panels add a modern twist, making the design a little more lively, but it's hard to say whether the overall look is classy or just a bit too plain. The oversized sponsor logo definitely dominates—perhaps a little too much.
While the back proudly displays the iconic "Foxes Never Quit" slogan, a nice touch, we can’t help but miss the intricate fox detailing from last season. All in all, it’s a pretty average offering.
17. Fulham Away
Images from Fulham FC.
Fulham’s away kit for the new season might have you double-checking the fixture list—did AC Milan sneak into the Premier League? With its retro-inspired black and red stripes, this shirt could easily pass for a Rossoneri classic.
The crisp white adidas logo, collar, shoulder stripes, and sponsor details add a sharp contrast, giving it a sleek, polished look.
Though the design is a nod to the past, a collar matching the home kit may just have been the perfect finishing touch.
16. Tottenham Hotspur Home
Images from Tottenham Hotspur FC.
Tottenham’s home kit this season adds more navy than usual, featuring it on the sleeves, side panels, and collar. The navy and white striped cuffs add some interest, though we’re not sure they’re a game-changer.
It’s definitely a step up from last season’s plain design, but still feels like it could use more excitement. Fans might be getting a bit bored with the safe choices (we are).
And while red and navy work well together, a navy sponsor logo might have tied the whole look together better, but what do we know?
15. Manchester United Home
Images from Manchester United FC.
Manchester United's new home kit is a nostalgic nod to the glory days of the Busby Babes, bringing back a touch of that old-school magic.
The design pays tribute to the club's rich heritage, with a sleek gradient blending two shades of red that add some excitement to the look.
The crisp white adidas logos and details give the kit a sharp, polished finish, though the subtle side detailing leans more toward salmon pink—switching that to white would really tie the whole look together.
With a new shirt sponsor adding to the fresh look, it's already looking good on the pitch, especially with Marcus Rashford tearing it up in style!
14. Liverpool Home
Images from Liverpool FC.
Liverpool's new home kit brings some serious retro vibes, featuring a collar inspired by the iconic Umbro 1982-85 shirt in which they famously lifted the Champions League trophy. While we're all for a throwback collar, the overall design leaves us a bit undecided.
The yellow pinstripes forming a YNWA pattern are a nice touch, but we can’t help thinking they look a bit like road markings—we’d probably prefer just a simple, classic pinstripe design.
It’s definitely different from last season, but in terms of appeal, we'd say it’s about the same.
13. Brentford Away
Images from Brentford FC.
Brentford's away kit for the new season is a delightful splash of pink that's sure to turn heads.
With its button-up design, this shirt combines elegance with a touch of fun, and the striped cuffs add just the right amount of flair.
The club crest, Umbro logo, and sponsor, all in a striking purple, come together beautifully, making this kit an absolute standout.
Yes, there's a betting sponsor, but we’re willing to overlook that because this shirt is just too fantastic to ignore!
12. Everton Away
Images from Everton FC.
Everton’s away kit for the new season is a lesson in how simplicity can be striking. Dressed in sleek black with bold yellow accents, it’s a real standout.
The iconic Everton Tower Crest has been simplified, but it still packs a punch, reminding us that even as we prepare to say goodbye to Goodison Park, some things never go out of style.
With a modern geometric pattern that mimics the stadium lights, and eye-catching yellow collar and cuffs, it’s a big step up from last year’s kit—a winning look for the Toffees!
11. Chelsea Home
Images from Chelsea FC.
Chelsea's new home kit for the season is a fresh take on the classic blue, inspired by "that fire that burns inside every Blue."
The addition of orange detailing is a bold move, and we think it complements the shirt perfectly, adding a bit of flair.
The design has an electric feel to it, which we're absolutely loving, and the iridescent logo is kind of growing on us too. Plus, it's sponsorless—a clean look we're all for.
We loved last season's kit, but this one might just top it. It’s a modern twist on the standard blue kit, taking Chelsea’s iconic look into the future!
10. Manchester City Home
Images from Manchester City FC.
Manchester City’s new home kit for the season is a true nod to their roots, with the classic sky-blue design featuring “0161” on the collar—a playful tribute to Manchester’s iconic landline code.
The collar and sleeve cuffs sport a graffiti-inspired 0161 graphic, adding a bit of local flair to the timeless look.
The usual sponsor sits quietly on the front, blending in without stealing the spotlight. Overall, we think it's a step up from last year’s kit, bringing back that traditional City feel.
Will they lift the title again in this shirt? Probably. And watching Haaland rack up goals in this beauty? That’ll be a pleasure!
9. West Ham United Away
Images from West Ham United FC.
West Ham's away kit for the new season is a real treat! The sleek black design is a refreshing change—we don't see enough of black kits—and the burgundy accents give it just the right amount of flair and personality.
The Umbro logo perfectly complements the colour scheme, tying everything together beautifully.
But the real star is the nod to Cockney heritage with the St Mary-le-Bow Church emblem, adding a clever and heartfelt touch to this true Cockney kit.
It's a winning combination of style and tradition that’s sure to turn heads.
8. Aston Villa Away
Images from Aston Villa FC.
Aston Villa's away kit for the new season has a clean and sharp look, featuring a crisp white base with three subtle lavender stripes, and burgundy logos that give it a classy touch.
They've stuck to their always lovely colour palette, and we’re especially fond of the clever fake collar design—it adds a nice bit of flair without being over the top.
This shirt feels fresh, bright, and beautiful, much like Villa’s hopes for the season ahead!
7. Arsenal Home
Images from Arsenal FC.
Arsenal’s home kit for the new season is a fresh take that ditches last year’s flashy gold stripes (understandably, since there hasn’t been much to celebrate) and replaces them with sleek dark blue accents.
The bold blue details pair beautifully with the iconic red, giving the shirt a nostalgic nod to the '90s while still feeling completely modern. For the first time in the modern era, the kit features the Cannon crest instead of the usual one— and honestly, we might like it better!
We’re looking forward to seeing what skills Saka pulls off wearing the jersey this season.
6. Wolverhampton Wanderers Away
Images from Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
We’re liking the black kits this season, and this shirt is another lovely one. The subtle wolf head motif adds a unique touch, paired perfectly with the club’s iconic old gold trim for that classic feel.
The logo sits front and centre on this one, which we're still not completely sold on, but it somehow works better here.
Overall, the wolf design gives this shirt a real sense of identity, making it both stylish and unmistakably Wolves.
5. Manchester United Away
Images from Manchester United FC.
Manchester United's away kit for the new season is a delightful nod to the 90s, with its rich navy blue and silver accents creating a classic yet fresh look.
The zigzag motif on the front, cleverly designed with the letter M, is a bold choice that definitely pays off. United love a collared shirt, as do we! The light blue graphic on the collar is a subtle tribute to the river near Old Trafford.
While we might have preferred the kit without the bright blue panels extending to the back, it’s still a stylish ensemble that we’re excited to see on the pitch.
4. Ipswich Town Home
Images from Ipswich Town FC.
Ipswich Town is stepping into the new season with a home kit fit for the Premier League. The classy navy trims and the return of white pinstripes after nearly a decade are a welcome sight.
The bold club crest with its shield surround and the original Umbro logo with the red detailing complements the badge perfectly, creating a stylish and cohesive look.
It’s clear the designers didn’t buckle under pressure, and fans will be hoping the team performs just as well on the pitch this season! All in all, a sharp kit.
3. Fulham Home
Images from Fulham FC.
Fulham’s home kit for the new season has us smiling, and it’s all thanks to that lovely collar—personally, we're big fans of a collared shirt! Even though we’re getting the word “golf shirt”, we like it.
The design sticks to Fulham’s classic predominantly white look with those traditional red and black accents, but it’s the red side cuts that really make this one pop.
It’s a clean, classy shirt that feels fresh yet familiar. We loved last season’s kit, but the addition of the collar this year definitely bumps it up a notch in our rankings!
2. Manchester City Away
Images from Manchester City FC.
Manchester City’s away kit for the new season is a fresh, modern take on their iconic 1999 design, paying homage to the team that earned promotion to the First Division that year.
It's another meaningful release from City, and we have to say, the navy base with fluorescent yellow stripes – perfectly accented by sky blue in between – is an unreal touch.
We love a good retro remake, and this one hits all the right notes. Sure, it might look even better without the side panels, but hey, even the perfect kit has its quirks!
1. Arsenal Away
Images from Arsenal FC.
After last season's, erm, questionable away kit, Arsenal have more than redeemed themselves, last to first!
This year's kit, crafted with Labrum London, celebrates the connection between Arsenal, North London, and Africa, honouring the club’s African supporters and players.
With a sleek black base and red and green accents paying tribute to legends like David Rocastle and Ian Wright, it's a standout.
The white graphic pattern adds a fresh touch, and while some may say it has Lynx Africa vibes, to them we say "shush"—we love it! The effort, detail, and planning are just WOW.
And there you have it—our take on this season’s Premier League kits! Whether you loved or loathed our rankings, remember, they’re just our totally unbiased opinions—promise! And hey, don’t hate the player, hate the game.
If you’re ready to suit up, we’ve got kits in men’s, women’s, and kids’ sizes so the whole family can look match-day sharp. Until next time, happy kit shopping, and may your team’s jersey be as strong as their season!
