FIFA 20 boots - top 10 boots for Pro Clubs this year
Creating your own Pro Clubs player is half the fun, so you’ll want to pick out the best football boots on the game.
Let’s be honest here. When it comes to actually playing a game of football, Pro Clubs is by far the most fun mode on FIFA 20. In fact, the same goes for just about every other FIFA from the past 10 years or so.
Okay, so it doesn’t have the addictive squad building of Ultimate Team or *cough* realism of Career Mode, but this is the one game mode where you can simply have a blast with your mates. There’s just nothing more satisfying than getting the band back together and working your way up the divisions for another year.
Even creating your own player can be a load of fun. From choosing your play style to styling your fluorescent pink hair, you’ll want your Pro to stand out on the pitch and have other players taking notice. Of course, this involves picking out a pair of FIFA 20’s best football boots, and this year you’re definitely spoilt for choice.
This blog is part of our FIFA 20 series. Check out the rest of the series below:
The 10 Best Boots for FIFA 20 Pro Clubs
PLEASE NOTE: these boots are available to unlock from the EA Catalogue, so you’ll need to head over there before your Pro can actually wear any of these boots. Fortunately, the Catalogue doesn’t involve any micro-transactions, so you won’t have to pay real money for them.
10. UA Magnetico Control - Glow Orange
Nothing makes you stand out quite like a pair of bright orange football boots. Under Armour’s new Magnetico Control is packed with colour and character, boasting a striking, swirling ridged pattern across the upper. They’re only really worn by Granit Xhaka in the professional game (which isn’t the strongest endorsement), but they’re already proving a popular choice on FIFA 20.
9. Nike Phantom VSN - Volt
Currently worn by Kevin De Bruyne, Mason Mount and Marco Verratti, the Nike Phantom VSN is taking the world by storm. First released last summer, Nike’s newest silo is now one of the most popular boots on the market, typically worn by technically-gifted players who like to dictate the play.
If you’re planning to play your Pro as a CAM, then this striking volt colourway might be right up your street.
8. adidas Copa 19+ - Input Code
The adidas Copa will never get any better than the legendary Mundial, no matter how many new features or colourways they introduce. However, despite resembling some sort of lemon meringue pie, the white Input Code model just so happens to look absolutely marvellous in FIFA 20. Give these a try to add a touch of class to your game.
7. Nike Mercurial Superfly Elite - Blue
The Nike Mercurial remains the most popular football boot on the planet, with the likes of CR7, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe wearing these every week. So, it stands to reason you’d want to follow suit.
Unfortunately, they’re so common out on the pitch, your Pro probably won’t really stand out in a pair of these. Still, that doesn’t prevent the new Superfly 7 from looking fantastic in this striking shade of blue, so it’s still a great choice for any Merc fan-boys out there.
6. Puma One Rush
A combination of white, black and yellow, there’s no doubt the Puma ONE Rush is incredibly distinctive. This is a boot for any strikers out there, with the likes of Sergio Aguero and Romelu Lukaku famously wearing them in real-life, although on FIFA you can obviously wear them in any position you like.
The only drawback here is the fact the yellow looks kinda green in-game, which sadly makes them blend into the pitch at certain angles.
5. Umbro Medusae 3 Elite - White
These are just so damn smooth. The Umbro Medusae 3 rose to fame as the world’s first-ever laceless leather boot, and this fresh white model is just downright gorgeous. White boots always look pretty striking on video games, and this is an unmistakably classy, striking design to use in Pro Clubs. So clean you could probably eat your dinner off them.
4. adidas X19+ - 302 Redirect
The adidas X is the ideal football boot for pace merchants. They’re built for speedy wingers and agile attackers, with the 302 Redirect model looking particularly good on FIFA 20. The silver and orange colourway helps your Pro stand out but without trying too hard, serving up the perfect combination of class and style. One for the quiet show-offs.
3. Joma Propulsion
Please excuse the poor pun, but the Joma Propulsion is just pure fire. The volcanic red and orange colourway is practically oozing out of these boots, becoming a blur of molten lava as you go tearing down the wings. They aren’t the most famous or popular boots on FIFA 20, but that’s exactly why they’ll help your Pro express a little individuality.
2. adidas Nemeziz 19+ - Hard Wired
Yes, they look a bit like rashers of bacon. And yes, they’re the most vibrant and outrageous boots in FIFA 20. The adidas Nemeziz is famously worn by Lionel Messi, built for agile playmakers who like to twist and turn their way through the opposition.
Whether that’s your play style or not, this design stands out a mile while you’re on the pitch, matching up perfectly with any exuberant pink kits your club might wear. Personally, my Pro will be wearing these alongside his ridiculous pink hairstyle.
1. adidas Predator 19+ - Input Code
Just look at them. You put the words “gold” and “Predator” together, and you’ve got yourself a clear winner. This classy colourway is just about as elegant as football boots get (particularly on video games), while gold is always synonymous with either success or being the most arrogant, confident player out on the pitch.
Besides, this is probably the only time you could get away with wearing gold boots without getting kicked all over the park. You need to be a special kind of player to pull these off, and FIFA 20 is the closest most of us will ever get to becoming that kind of superstar.
FIFA 20 is out now on all major platforms, and you can compare prices at FOOTY.COM to make sure you bag the best deal. Alternatively, you can find deals on real-life football boots, as we make it easier to find the cheapest boots on the internet!
