Manchester United 2019/20 Home Kit - Released
The 2019 Man United home shirt returns to a cleaner design after the more distinctive gradient look this season. A few things stand out in particular from the leaks that are circulating.
Firstly the crest evokes United’s crest in their famous treble winning season of 1999, with a large shield design behind the main crest. The nod to ‘99 continues in a very deliberate fashion, with detailing of the timing of the goals scored in the Champions League final and dates relating to trophies one. It’s a little bit much for me, but thankfully these details are relatively subtle and don’t detract from the overall design.
Other things to note include ‘ghost’ adidas stripes, as opposed to contrasting colour stripes which we usually see on adidas kits. Sadly there has been no tweaks to the Chevrolet logo, which continues to dominate and be an eyesore.

Manchester United 2019/20 Away Kit - Leaks
The new United away shirt has been leaked, supposedly appearing in stores in India. Rumours of a beige colour scheme have been proved true, but it's the pattern which will cause the most controversy. We're getting a snakeskin-esque design, something which few kits have attempted to create. This more daring design makes sense considering the relatively understated home which has now been released, but none the less it will be interesting to see the reaction if this design is indeed real.
Manchester United 2019/20 Third Kit - Leaks
Man United’s third shirt is set to take an interesting direction, mimicking some of the ideas of England Women’s new away kit. Like England’s kit we are getting an all-over rose pattern. However, for United’s 3rd kitthe pattern isn’t quite as intricate.
The black base and pale red details form a decent colour scheme, but as usual the overall aesthetic is ruined by the sponsor. With all red details and a more refined pattern, this could have been a real stunner of a shirt.
